I’m in the middle of what’s turning out to be one of my most challenging & fulfilling jobs.
Recently recruited into a project to help reinvent a local chef & help brand her new concept visually.
I love the collaborative work. I’ve been asked to come up with conceptual imagery as well as translate some ideas from the marketing team.
Each day, until the new restaurant concept opens on August 14th, we will be adding a new image or idea to the old restaurant’s website. www.tafia.com
It probably won’t make that much sense to you at this stage but as the imagery unfolds so will the concept.
Quick back history - Chef Monica Pope, 20+ years, 3 restaurants, Tafia in it’s 10th year, started to feel stale. Saying, “A lot of what I’m trying to do is just reinvent myself and recommit to what I’m trying to do personally and professionally in a world that has changed a lot in the last 20 years since I started.”
Taking advantage of the summer’s annual 2 week break, she will close Tafia & open up as her new concept.
